How would you describe your style?

My style is very open minded, I love exploring new styles in every genre/gender of fashion and connecting different styles together. Most of my clothes are from the mens section but i still have my girly dresses and accessories to match. There are no rules when it comes to your style. But if I had to choose one style, I would say my style is more tomboy with a touch of girly-ness in accessories. My top outfit would be oversized blazer, a white tank, jeans or suit pants, sneakers or loafers and one of my designer bags. I do love matching my shoes and accessories whether it be the colour, designer or shape, I'm always matching something together.

What do you love about these outfits?

I love how each of the outfits I styled are all different in their own way, but still reflect my style through layering, colours and textures.

What makes you feel confident?

I think I’m most confident when I’m comfortable in what I’m wearing. As in not having to worry about little things like if my dress is too short or if my shoes are giving me blisters. But don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to dress up, but i feel most confident when I’m comfortable.

How do you think we can be more sustainable consumers with our shopping choices?

Most of my clothes including designer are purchased second hand or through a reseller. I’m very invested in fashion but I don’t support fast fashion. It's so easy to go buy a $10 t-shirt that'll last you a month instead of a quality $100 t shirt that lasts for years.

I also love supporting my small New Zealand brands as I know I'm supporting someone with a vision similar to mine and sustainably.

Shop NZ local, support small businesses, don't give into the greed of fast fashion it's okay to spend a bit more if it's going to last you longer.
